Mackenzie Carter is an active Eleventh Grader, with a wide range of talents and interests.
She is an accomplished pianist, vocalist, and competitive athlete, receiving recognition on a local, county, state, and national
level. Yet, academic achievement, school leadership and involvement, and community service remain her priorities. She
has served on a variety of missions projects and volunteered for a number of local service organizations. During her
reign as Miss Teen Bakersfield, she has committed to working with The American Cancer Society. This focus reflects her
passion to raise youth awareness of healthy lifestyle choices and a desire to foster an overall understanding of a disease
that affects one of every four people. Just three weeks after being crowned Miss Teen Bakersfield, Mackenzie lost her
beloved Grandmother to cancer. Early screening and detection is so important.
Mackenzie
recognizes that it is a tremendous honor to represent the City of Bakersfield as Miss Teen Bakersfield and a blessing to serve
the city throughout her term.
